Music, Media & Entertainment
An ideal career field for a Christendom graduate
The fields of music, media, and entertainment are as popular as ever — making them equally competitive as well. Breaking into these industries are tough and require more than just talent. Musicians and entertainers need a strong background that can influence how they use their talent and how they communicate it to others — a background that can come from the liberal arts.
Liberal arts majors can be found throughout the entertainment industry, using their knowledge of philosophy, history, and more in their works. In addition, they also use their communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills to successfully navigate the industry.
Christendom alumni can be found hitting Billboard charts, directing movies in Hollywood, and working in the country music scene in Nashville. At Christendom’s Life on Tap alumni networking series, successful alumni in the music, media, and entertainment fields have returned to campus to speak on how they used their liberal arts education and the career preparation they received at Christendom to find post-graduate success.
